Brough School was established in 1875, and serves a large area from Stainmore to Musgrave. The school has four main classroom areas, library and a large hall, plus additional teaching areas where groups or individual pupils can work. All classrooms utilise interactive whiteboards and children work 1-1 with Chromebooks and Chrome tablets, to enable digital literacy.
In the grounds of the school we have an extensive play area including adventure trail, vast play tower, a traversing wall and a lovely separate area for our foundation stage and year one pupils.
The school has close links with the 'outstanding' local pre-school group which shares the school grounds and runs transition sessions within the school premises.
Our school is one of a handful of Google Reference schools in the country and we have Eco-Schools Green Flag status. It places an emphasis on the welfare and personal development of its pupils as well as promoting an active, healthy life style.
The school has a fabulous curriculum, following the National Curriculum, that sets high expectations and aspirational goals to all the pupils, in a safe, caring, inspiring and fun environment. I look forward to welcoming you, in whatever capacity you join us, to our fabulous school.
