Safeguarding

Safeguarding comes first at the school.  Only when our children are in a secure, happy environment will they thrive and learn.  Our Head Teacher, Mr Cooper, is the safeguarding lead.  If you have any questions about safeguarding please contact him.

Below is Cumbria County Council's required text and contact details for safeguarding procedures:

Are you concerned about a child?

If you are concerned that a child or young person is in an emergency situation you should contact the police urgently on 999.

If you are a member of the public with significant concerns about a child please contact the Cumbria Safeguarding Hub, phone 0333 240 1727 or complete a single contact form.

Outside office hours - If your concern is outside of normal working hours (8 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 4.30 pm Friday) or a weekend / Bank Holiday, please contact the Emergency Duty Team on 0333 240 1727.  The Emergency Duty Team service is an emergency only response with the social worker available to provide a response where the needs of the child indicate this.
